INCIMAT developed the redevelopment project of a green corridor intended for pedestrian and cycling use, transforming an existing area into a sustainable infrastructure designed to promote active mobility and environmental integration within the urban environment.
The scope of work included the assessment of the existing route, the definition of accessible pathways, the design of pedestrian and cycling pavements, and the integration of landscape solutions adapted to the specific characteristics of the site.
During the development of the project, key aspects such as universal accessibility, drainage systems, signage, road safety, lighting, urban furniture, and connections with existing public spaces and infrastructure were thoroughly evaluated.
Using advanced modeling tools, the layout and implementation of the corridor elements were optimized, including the assessment of earthworks, topographical integration, and revegetation strategies aimed at enhancing the environmental quality of the surrounding area.
The result was a project that successfully combined functionality, sustainability, and urban quality, creating a safe and attractive space for pedestrians and cyclists while improving connectivity and supporting the environmental regeneration of the area.
