INCIMAT carried out the foundation design for a self-consumption photovoltaic installation, developing structural solutions capable of ensuring the stability and long-term durability of the support systems for the solar modules under the mechanical and environmental actions expected throughout their service life.
The scope of work included the assessment of the site’s geotechnical conditions, the evaluation of permanent and variable loads, and the analysis of wind actions acting on the supporting structures of the photovoltaic panels.
Based on these design parameters, the required foundations were engineered to ensure an adequate transfer of loads to the ground, optimizing both structural safety and the installation’s construction and maintenance costs.
The project also included the verification of deformations, global stability, soil bearing capacity, and compatibility with the selected mounting systems for the solar field.
The result was a technically optimized foundation solution, specifically adapted to the characteristics of the site and designed to ensure the reliability and proper performance of the photovoltaic installation throughout its entire service life.
