INCIMAT developed a comprehensive fire protection strategy for a logistics facility, defining the measures necessary to ensure the safety of people, the protection of property, and compliance with regulations applicable to industrial and storage facilities.
The project included an analysis of the facility’s operations, the building’s structural characteristics, the expected fire load, the distribution of fire compartments, and the conditions for occupant evacuation.
Various passive and active protection measures were evaluated, including compartmentalization, fire resistance of structural elements, evacuation routes, detection systems, smoke control, fire water supply, and protection networks using fire hydrants, fire hydrant outlets (BIEs), and automatic sprinklers.
Using three-dimensional models and specific simulations, the suitability of the proposed solutions was verified, optimizing the layout of the protection systems and ensuring an effective response to potential fire scenarios.
The result was a technically optimized fire protection strategy, tailored to the facility’s operational needs and designed to maximize safety and the continuity of logistics operations.
