INCIMAT developed the energy justification for a multi-family residential building, verifying compliance with the requirements established by current regulations regarding energy efficiency and energy demand limitation.
The project included an analysis of the building’s thermal envelope—covering facades, roofs, floors, openings, solar shading, and thermal bridges—as well as an evaluation of the HVAC, ventilation, and domestic hot water systems.
Using advanced energy simulation tools, the building’s overall performance was verified, evaluating parameters such as heating and cooling demand, primary energy consumption, associated emissions, and the anticipated thermal comfort levels for occupants.
The study verified compliance with the energy efficiency targets required by regulations and identified potential improvement measures aimed at reducing energy consumption and enhancing the building’s sustainability.
The result was a comprehensive technical justification demonstrating compliance with applicable energy requirements, providing the necessary documentation for the development and validation of the residential project.
