INCIMAT conducted a structural analysis of reinforced concrete continuous beams integrated into an administrative building, evaluating their strength and deformation behavior within the building’s overall structural system.
The work included defining the permanent and variable loads, evaluating the stresses in the various spans, analyzing positive and negative moments, shear forces, and support conditions, as well as the interaction of the beams with columns, floor slabs, and other load-bearing elements.
During the project, the ultimate and serviceability limit states were verified, with special attention paid to controlling deflections, cracking, stress redistribution, and structural continuity between spans.
The design allowed for the optimization of the required cross-sections and reinforcement, ensuring a safe, efficient solution that met the functional and architectural requirements of the administrative building.
The result was a properly verified reinforced concrete structure with adequate performance under the anticipated loads and a structural response that met the safety, durability, and service criteria required by regulations.
