INCIMAT carried out the structural verification of a support structure designed for industrial dynamic equipment, assessing its behavior under the actions generated during normal operation and transient operating conditions.
The scope of work included the analysis of static and dynamic loads transmitted by the equipment, considering effects associated with vibrations, accelerations, start-up and shutdown conditions, potential imbalances, and resonance phenomena.
Using advanced structural models, the load-bearing capacity of columns, beams, connections, and foundations was verified. The study also included the evaluation of natural frequencies, vibration modes, displacements, and stress levels within the various structural components.
Different operating scenarios were analyzed to ensure that the structure would maintain adequate performance throughout the service life of the facility, preventing issues related to fatigue, dynamic amplification, or premature deterioration of structural elements.
The result was an optimized and reliable structure capable of withstanding the dynamic loads generated by industrial equipment while ensuring the operational continuity and long-term performance of the installation.
