Development of a Weather Analysis Platform for Engineering and Construction Projects

INCIMAT developed a digital weather analysis platform designed to support the planning and management of engineering and construction projects, enabling the anticipation of adverse environmental conditions and improving operational decision-making on site.

The solution was designed to integrate meteorological information from multiple sources, process short- and medium-term forecasts, and generate automatic alerts linked to the different phases of project execution.

The platform provides continuous monitoring of key variables such as wind speed and direction, precipitation, temperature, storms, and other parameters relevant to activities that are sensitive to weather conditions.

Through configurable decision rules, the system analyzes weather forecasts and issues preventive alerts whenever conditions are detected that may affect the safety, productivity, or feasibility of specific operations, including work at height, lifting operations, drone inspections, concrete works, industrial assembly activities, and maintenance operations.

The platform supports resource planning, schedule optimization, and the reduction of operational risks associated with adverse weather events.

The result was a digital tool capable of transforming meteorological data into actionable project intelligence, providing early visibility of environmental conditions and supporting real-time technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
