INCIMAT participated in the structural design of a large-scale logistics facility intended for storage and distribution activities, developing the necessary engineering to ensure the structure’s stability, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
The project involved the complete structural analysis of the main steel trusses, roof and facade purlins, bracing, structural connections, and foundations, taking into account permanent loads, live loads, wind loads, and all other applicable regulatory loads.
Due to the large clear spans required for logistics operations, special attention was paid to the geometric optimization of the structural elements, aiming to maximize open interior spaces and minimize interference with storage systems and the movement of goods.
The work included the development of three-dimensional computational models, the verification of ultimate and serviceability limit states, as well as the definition of all construction details necessary for the fabrication and assembly of the steel structure.
The result was an efficient, safe structural solution tailored to the operational needs of a modern logistics facility, optimizing both structural performance and construction and maintenance costs.
